When Charis invited Laureen Robertson to partner in creating Bandon Tours, it was an opportunity she couldn't pass up. After moving to Bandon, Oregon, in the fall of 2023, Laureen quickly fell in love with the area's breathtaking beauty, welcoming community, and fascinating history.

A passionate traveler, Laureen and her husband have always believed that the best investments are in experiences rather than things. From historic walking tours to unforgettable food tours around the world, they've made exploring local culture a priority for their family.

As co-founder of Bandon Tours, Laureen loves combining her love of travel, storytelling, and creating meaningful experiences with her passion for the Oregon Coast.

After more than 30 years in public education, Charis McGaughy decided it was time to embrace a new adventure.
When she and her husband became empty nesters, they made the move to beautiful Bandon, Oregon, a place they quickly fell in love with.
While her husband enjoys spending time on the golf course, Charis found her passion in sharing the magic of the Oregon Coast with others.

A lifelong traveler and learner, Charis loves discovering new experiences, meeting new people, and creating meaningful connections.

Her passion for Bandon inspired her to help others experience its history, beauty, and welcoming community.
