Sharing my favorite wooden German Christmas ornament here on my tree in 2022. This is an original Steinbach that I’ve had for many years. It always has a special space in my heart.

It’s a and growing up in Germany 🇩🇪 I saw many hard at work! It was and still is considered to be when you see one!

Now for me, it’s a especially meaningful. My father was a chimney sweep for many years, and this reminds me of him.❤️

Sometimes the best pictures are the ones that are not really planned. For example...this one here. While visiting the this past November I stood watching this gorgeous over the River and unbeknownst to me my companion took this unposed picture. It captured a moment in time when I couldn't tear my eyes off of the beautiful horizon of the majestic Parliament building, the river in front of it and the sky above.
The colors were so gorgeous. Love this great picture!
