Yesterday we kicked off with a full Too Easy tour that came out, braved it in the wind and had an awesome time. Sunset crew was an almost full tour and got a calmer ocean with a gorgeous sunset at the end. Thanks to everyone who joined us. Were so pumped for another season to start 🚣🌊🌅💦❤️🦭🐬🦅

Earlier this week we had our first 2 tours of the season. It was a great day and the warmest one so far this year.
Our first couple Ben and Emely got to pose with a bald eagle 🦅 and saw some seals 🦭
Our adventure couple Kyle and Marc came for a sunset paddle, celebrating their anniversary. 🌅
What a wonderful day on the water. Looking forward to more of them and to get the season going.

A popular sight on our tours is the bald eagle 🦅 and their nest.

The bald eagle is a large predatory raptor.
An American icon with a brown body, recognisable white head and tail, and a hooked yellow beak.

The juvenile bald eagle looks different from the adults. They’re almost entirely brown with a few white markings under their wings and on their chest.

As they get older their bill turns from dark brown/ black to yellow and they gradually get more white markings until they reach sexual maturity at about 5.5 years old.

The adult male is about 90 cm (36 in) long and has a wingspan of 2 metres (6.6 feet). Male and female birds look alike, but the females can be up to 25% larger.

We often get the question; “will we see any seals?” 🦭 🦭
We don’t guarantee spotting of seals, but lately there’s been so many around and we’ve seen both Harbour seal and Grey seals on almost all of our tours.

They’ve been holding out in the sun or if they’re in the water and see a kayak coming they duck under water until you pass and then they sneakily pop up behind you.
So our tip is, always check your 6 o’clock because there just might be a lil seal stalking you.
