The MISS BARNEGAT LIGHT has many longtime customers. They are like family to us. Last night's Sunset Cruise was celebrated with the birthday in heaven of our cherished and loyal customer Joe Lebisky. His family and friends were on board along with his wife and one year old son. RIP Joe.

25 years ago we were on our way in from a canyon tuna trip. The beautiful blue sky was blemished with a stream of black smoke that was visible from over 70 miles offshore. We started to get info from the boats fishing inshore that day and obviously in shock like everyone else. We had members of the FDNY onboard and if we would have docked at Battery Park they would have run right to ground zero. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims, police, firefighters, first responders and every family who’s lives changed that day. NEVER FORGET!

Weather looks good for the weekend trips ahead. Fluke fishing everyday 8am to 1pm. Dolphin and Nature Cruise Saturday 4-530pm. Sunset cruises Friday and Saturday evening 630-8pm.

Fluke fishing will continue through Sunday September 20th.
Next Saturday, September 19th, is the last Dolphin and Nature Cruise.
Last Sunset Cruises are Thursday Friday and Saturday September 17, 18 &19.

THANK YOU TO OUR SUMMER CUSTOMERS FOR YOUR BUSINESS. YES, some still are here and fishing and cruises continue, but we express our appreciation for all those who have returned home. A good season with quite a few rainy days and nights, but the MIss Barnegat Light continues on.

Small crowd had decent fluking today. Plenty of room and September is best time of year. Bring your gulp and bucktails.

They may say summer is over on Labor Day but, it isn’t over quite yet! Here’s our schedule for the next few weeks:
Fluke fishing everyday 8am to 1pm. Last trip September 23rd.
Sunset cruises every night 630pm departure through September 12th, then Thursday Friday and Saturday September 17, 18 & 19. Nature and Dolphin Cruises today, Saturdays September 12 and 19.
