Are you looking for something out of the ordinary to fill your evenings? Join us as we walk the historic and haunted “Old Kings Highway” in Barnstable Village.. As the tour starts you will hear stories of the confli

ct between the Loyalists and the American Whigs (Patriots) and how England had a stronghold on this small quaint town. There are over ten stops on the tour and eight have ghost stories. You will visit Cobb’s Hill Cemetery where many strange and unusual things have taken place. You will visit such places as The old farm house, comedy club and the Hedge House. As we walk along the historic highway there is a possibility that the tour may be followed by one of the town former residents. As the tours ends you will enter the darken “Old Jail” built in 1690’s by the order of Massachusetts Bay Colony Courts, which is actively haunted. TIME: 7:00PM

Barnstable Village Ghost Hunters Tour - MON & FRI
Bring your camera, digital/analog voice recorder and join us on this one of a kind tour. You will go on a walking tour of Barnstable Village with professional Ghost Hunters. You will stop and hear the haunting tales that plague the town. You will then have the opportunity to investigate a known haunted cemetery. The evening includes a three-hour walking tour (or longer) of the village's haunted locations and participants will visit places such as Crocker Tavern, Barnstable Court House and many more. You will learn how to do EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) also know as "recording voices of the dead" inside the cemetery. You will also get to use some sensory equipment to "detect" paranormal activity. One stop on the tour has had some local's spooked...it is called "The House of 11 Ghosts" or the town knows it as "The Barnstable House". The tours have gotten exciting throughout the years with the paranormal events that have been seen and recorded and just think, it may happen to you. TIME: 7:00PM

Join founder, Derek Bartlett , as your tour guide for Barnstable Village's Ghost Hunters Tour at 7pm. He will bring you down The King's Road and stop at locations such as The Barnstable House that has a nickname The House of 11 Ghosts, The Hedge House and many, many more locations. You will enter Cobb's Hill Cemetery (photo) and listen to the stories and then be handed a digital voice recorder and he will teach you how to collect EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomenon/voices of the dead) where you then will walk the cemetery to try to capture evidence yourself. You will then be brought into The Oldest Wooden Jail in America, that is activly haunted.

The village has over 6 children entities that haunt locations throughout our tour.

This is a 3hr tour and about a 1 mile walk.
