🏃‍♀️ Ready, Set, Run (or Walk)! 🏃‍♂️

Get moving this spring with the First Due 5k Run / Walk at Fisherman’s Park hosted by the Texas Public Safety Training Academy! This inaugural event supports future first responders by helping students begin their journey in public safety. Every registration helps fund 3 scholarships.

Not a runner? That’s okay. Come walk, touch the fire truck, cheer people on, and shop with local vendors throughout the event. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or looking for a fun way to kick off the weekend, this family-friendly event is a great way to enjoy fresh air, community energy, and scenic views in Bastrop.

Bailey Kay’s Bull Riding is bringing rodeo energy to town! From heart-pounding bull riding to mutton busting for the little cowboys and cowgirls, this is a night packed with Texas tradition.
