🏰🎄✨ PAID IN FULL & DISNEY BOUND! ✨🎄🏰

There’s something extra exciting about getting to tell a client that their vacation is officially PAID IN FULL! 🎉

Another sweet family is one step closer to experiencing the magic of Walt Disney World during the most wonderful time of the year! ❤️

This particular vacation has been a little longer in the making. Life required a change of plans, but we were able to adjust their reservation, secure new travel dates, and keep the Disney magic on the calendar! ✨

Now their resort is booked, their Park Hopper tickets and Disney Dining Plan are included, and their vacation package is officially paid in full!

Next up? Putting those finishing touches on their magical Christmas getaway! 🎄🏰

This one was a fun one to help with — 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗸, 𝗣𝗵𝘂𝗸𝗲𝘁, 𝗣𝗵𝗶 𝗣𝗵𝗶 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗶 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗵 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

My client already had a good idea of the trip he wanted, so my role was helping him work through the hotel options and narrow down the 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁, 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲.

Now that we’re home, I’m finally sorting through all the photos, videos, and notes from this trip — and we packed a LOT into our week in the Canadian Rockies!

What we actually did:

∙ Experienced the 𝙂𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙠𝙮𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠

∙ Had lunch at 𝘾𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙚 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
∙ Canoed on 𝙀𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙙 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙚 🛶
∙ Experienced 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙚 🌄
∙ Enjoyed a 𝙨𝙥𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙩 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙛𝙛 𝙎𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨
∙ The guys got in a little 𝙜𝙤𝙡𝙛
∙ Spent time exploring the town of 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙛𝙛
∙ And ate at some pretty amazing restaurants along the way. ❤️

We definitely learned that a planned itinerary and a real-life itinerary aren’t always the same thing. 😂 Between weather and adjusting to what our group actually felt like doing, a few things didn’t make the final cut.

𝗔𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆:
These would still be great additions, especially for a more active/outdoorsy family or group:

∙ 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲
∙ 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲
∙ 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗳𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗮 + 𝗦𝗸𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 — ours was unfortunately a weather casualty
∙ 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗲 & 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲
∙ 𝗕𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀

And honestly, that’s part of good trip planning too — having a great itinerary while still being willing to change it when the weather, energy level, or group says otherwise.

I’m working on putting together my 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙛𝙛 𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮, including where we stayed, our day-by-day route, restaurants, reservations, what we actually did versus skipped, and what I would change or recommend after experiencing it ourselves.

🏔️𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲: 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽

For the first half of our Canadian Rockies trip, we stayed at 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽, and this place was such a vibe. ❤️

Tucked away in Banff National Park just a short drive from Lake Louise, Baker Creek feels like you’ve escaped into your own little mountain retreat. Think log cabins, tall pine trees, a glacier-fed creek running through the property, mountain views and wildlife right outside your door.

This was exactly the kind of place I pictured when I started planning a trip to the Canadian Rockies.

I loved being able to come back after a full day of exploring, pour a glass of w**e and just enjoy how peaceful it was. 🍷🏔️ And apparently we weren’t the only ones enjoying the property — we had squirrels running around, spotted elk nearby, and there were plenty of reminders that we were very much in bear country. 😂🐻

One of my favorite things about Baker Creek is that it feels secluded without being too far from everything we wanted to do around Lake Louise. The cabins and suites sit just steps from Baker Creek, and there are creekside fire pits, a sauna and steam room, complimentary bikes, lawn games and a little Creekside Café for coffee, breakfast, lunch and snacks.

And those complimentary bikes were such a cute touch! 🚲

This stay gave us the cozy, rustic side of the Rockies before we moved into Banff for the second half of the trip, and I’m so glad we split our stay between the two areas.

If you’re planning a Banff trip and want something that feels a little more peaceful, woodsy and tucked away from the crowds, Baker Creek by Basecamp is definitely worth looking at. ❤️

I mean… cabins in the woods, mountain views, wildlife and w**e?
Sign me up. 😂🍷🏔️

Another option near Lake Louise worth checking out is Lake Louise Inn.

🏔️𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑾𝒆'𝒓𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒇𝒇: 𝑯𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒍 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒆 & 𝑺𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒔

We’ve officially moved into Banff for the second half of our trip, and I have to share our hotel because 𝑯𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒍 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒆 & 𝑺𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝑺𝑶 𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒆! 😍

It has that perfect modern mountain-lodge feel — lots of warm wood, huge beams, cozy spaces, and all the little details that make it feel like you’re definitely in the Canadian Rockies.

It’s located right on Banff Avenue and is an easy walk into downtown, which has been so convenient for exploring the shops, restaurants and everything Banff has to offer.

And can we talk about the amenities?! 🙌
The rooftop hot pools overlooking the mountains are probably my favorite part, and there’s also a sauna that is calling my name after all the hiking we’ve been doing. 😂 The hotel also has its own restaurant, 𝑺𝒖𝒅𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚, right downstairs.

Another little perk I love — complimentary local Banff bus passes are included, along with free parking and Wi-Fi.

So far, I’m really happy with this choice. It gives you the cozy Rocky Mountain atmosphere while still being close enough to everything in town.

If Banff is on your travel list, 𝑯𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒍 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒆 & 𝑺𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒅𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑰'𝒅 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉 𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒓. 🏔️🛶❤️

And yes… I fully intend to spend some time unwinding in that hot pool. 😂♨️
