My goal while out on the water is to have the best experience. I'll bust tail to put us on fish and have a great day on Lake Huron or Lake Michigan.

Walleye Fishing Saginaw Bay aboard the Rock ‘N’ Reel with me, Captain Scott DeVuyst, is bound to be an enjoyable day on the water! Walleye fishing on Saginaw Bay is at its peak and limit catches are more the rule than the exception. I grew up fishing with both of my grandfathers on inland lakes in Canada. Over time, I have continued to spend countless hours (days) on the water and enjoy every mome

nt of it. Over the last several years, I have focused my efforts on Saginaw Bay, catching the bountiful supply of walleye. The Rock ‘N’ Reel 2.0 is a 30′ Hydrasports VX fiberglass boat powered by twin 250hp Yamaha four stroke outboards- offering one of the quietest (and yes fastest) rides out to the best fishing locations. Hydrasport boats have a Kevlar reinforced hull and built for the tough offshore fishing trips in the Atlantic Ocean. The Rock ‘N’ Reel 2.0 handles the Saginaw Bay with ease, with all of the safety features that are required by the US Coast Guard and the DNR. It is equipped with the latest Raymarine electronics and safety gear. For the convenience of the family, there are private restroom facilities aboard.

We had a good day working on the 3rd Rock yesterday. When we are done - it will have a complete overhaul on electronics at the helm. Safety, technology, and easier on the captain. Looking forward to seeing you on the water- it won’t be long.

Sleds are stowed after a solid ice season! Been doing the “Mr Miyagi” thing…. Now time for the real off season work - The new dash panel with all new electronics is looking sweet. The 3rd Rock is getting the face lift. In 2026, Ludington salmon won’t stand a chance…..well….at least we will be safe!

It's time to gear up for ice fishing charters. Our trips accommodate 3 people each, with choices for half-day or full-day adventures. February's forecast is promising, with ice conditions being solid. All charters utilize newer Skidoo Expeditions, newer electronics and equipment.

Another nice weekend on Lake Michigan. Beautiful weather and some solid fishing. Cold water and fishing the entire column earning nice boxes of mixed species.

Upon review, I realized I had fallen behind on posting photos. We brought the summer Saginaw Bay walleye season to a close with some truly exceptional trips. I can honestly say that it was one of our most productive and enjoyable summers on Saginaw Bay! Great crews with impressive baskets. I wish to thank everyone who played a role in making it a success.

Having the opportunity to take people fishing is a gift. I continue to have groups that enjoy the experience of fishing, we do catch a good number of fish, and I get to help make memories. Grateful to spend time on the water with exceptional crews, both new and old!

Wash,rinse,repeat- we did it again! Another great Fathers Day trip in the books. First time with me on the 2.0 and they figured it out pretty quickly. A lot of fish and memories made. Thanks for spending your day with me on the Rock N Reel 2.0.
