Convinced Brice of Hang 'Em High Hunters to give the gobblers a break. And to jump on the boat for a couple hours to slay some slabs... And we didnt disappoint!!! We caught close to 30 craps total, a solid almost "teener" (12 7/8") and a couple big blue gills each. Kept half a dozen for tacos.

Went out to check the bite today and We are happy to report: The Crappie bite is finally starting to pick up. Caught around 40 fish today in 4 hours. Had some doubles, and a nice 13.5". Kept a dozen for tacos Get in touch to book your trip!!!

🥵...so as forrest gump would say" it happens" some times. we were a little late to weigh ins(2 min) on day one so we didnt get to weigh. day 2 we decided to chase a big fish check, since "you can't win it on day one, but you can darn sure loose it!!" didnt end up gettin a biggin to bite, but had a good time regardless. then got home and found out a mud slide took out the propane tanks, spent the last 2 days getting it cleaned up and the propane plumbed back to the house. now to pre fish for the tournament coming up on the 29th & 30th and work out the crappie bite for upcoming trips, so maybe we can start to even out the expense vs income sheet😉🤣🤣....pics are Gump, day 2 sunrise, and then the before and after mudslide.
