Just wrapped up an incredible adventure with We dove deep into Scotland’s rich history, exploring the legendary tales of William Wallace’s revolt against the English.

We stood in awe at the magnificent monument for Robert the Bruce, the King of Scotland from 1306-1329, who played a pivotal role in securing Scottish independence after the many years of fighting that saw him lead the Scottish to victory during the battle at Bannockburn in 1314. This would eventually lead to the Treaty of Northampton in 1328 that secured the country’s independence.

If you’re a fan of historical fiction, check out the Netflix movie Outlaw King, which brings this time in history to life. Highly recommended! 🎬🍿

🌍✨ Another unforgettable day in Scotland! We explored the majestic Stirling Castle, marveled at the Great Hall, and wandered through the enchanting Queen’s Castle. The beautiful gardens were the perfect spot to soak in the scenery. 🌸🏰 Our adventure continued at the museum, where we uncovered fascinating facts about their vibrant culture and rich history. Scotland, you never cease to amaze us! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ❤️

Today, we explored the stunning Edinburgh Castle, soaking in the rich history and breathtaking views of the city. After our tour, we wandered through the vibrant streets, diving into the lively atmosphere of The Fringe! 🎭🎉 There’s no better time to experience the creativity and energy of this incredible festival, which lights up the city every August.

We kicked off our journey exploring the vibrant streets and rich history of this amazing city. One of the highlights was witnessing a bridge shift to allow a boat to pass through the canal—such a unique experience! 🚢🌉

Paul and I traveled down to Pawnee, Oklahoma to visit the Steam & Gas Engine Show happening! Yes even in the rain we showed up and were able to see some of the great engines on display and the parade that just took place a bit ago! It was a lovely spring day for this little slice of heaven!
