We hope all our friends and neighbors in Southeast Texas are staying safe and dry in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Edouard. Like many of you, our offices remain without power. The Beaumont CVB main office, Cattail Marsh Wetlands and Tyrrell Park Nature Center will all remain closed today.

We will tentatively reopen on Thursday, September 3. Please stay safe and stay vigilant.

Well, this Sound of Beaumont summer has been a BLAST.

It’s the FINAL WEEKEND to claim your check-ins and convert them to raffle entries! Submissions close on Saturday, August 15, so be sure to visit your Sound Passport and claim those entries.

A winner will be drawn next week for our two front row seats to see Parker McCollum on September 26 at Doggett Ford Park.

Is it still 100° outside, even at 7 p.m.? Yes. 🥵

Is it still technically summer for another 41 days? Also yes.

But are we SO looking forward to all the fall activities that happen in and around Beaumont? DOUBLE YES.

We can’t wait for cool breezes, sweater weather (fingers crossed 🤞🏼), c***rs, fire pits and more. We’re working on building a fall fun guide to Beaumont and the surrounding area.
