Hello Everyone, I just wanted to show a few pictures from Christmas at the town home. We rent out our town home year round and over Christmas Break! We go up the weekend before with our family to have Christmas at the town home. We have openings from now through to Dec 28th is open for bookings. Today I was thinking how the difference 1 week can make on Lake Superior. The First 3 pictures was the huge storm that hit on April 14th, 2018. Those are 50 foot cliffs on the 2nd and 3rd picture at Crystal Bay! 1st picture is a 25 foot cliff at the mouth of Baptism River. It was at the mouth of the Baptism River and that was just one week later. Calm as can be! If you have never experienced the Lake Superior storms that can bring the gnarliest of waves that pound the MN North Shore, then you are missing out. They are breathtaking scenery! November, March, April can bring some big storms in. But actually all through the winter you can see some big storms when the Nor'Easters blow in. November and April are great months as those are the best prices on the North Shore for places to stay. Our vacation home has off season pricing which is lower from Peak Season stays. Also, they go down to a minimum 2 night stay instead of 3 night minimum. This is a great way to experience our vacation home as the waves thunder into our shoreline and you feel like you are on at an ocean side retreat.

Hello everyone, I am excited to announce our new associate Loey Miles! We are moving forward to doing our own digital marketing for Superior's Edge. Our goal is to directly market to our guests and eventually remove ourselves from Online Travel Agencies - like - VRBO, AirBNB etc... We enjoy working with our guests directly. I needed help to manage our page, website and travel blog. Welcome aboard Loey!! I hope you will read her bio - we love her creative and fun personality - AND love of the North Shore!

Just touching base to let you know I am taking a Digital Marketing class in how to better market our business. The goal is to run adds and specials for our home. AND I am learning the technology to be able to set up my Insider Travel Guide I have for our vacation rental home. My hope is to turn the guide into a blog and then be able have easier access for everyone to access the guide. Right now I have it tied to another company that is trying to market their company to all who visit it. So no more held hostage by that company. Thanks to this 7 week course given by Vacation Rental Marketing Formula. They are also teaching me some great new things to add onto my website for our travelers. I am excited to see what this will all morph into. I hope you will stay tuned in to find out and also eventually you will see my blogs for the travel guide that will be posting on my Facebook. One other good news for us we will soon have someone special helping me on this vacation home marketing project too. Stay tuned for who it is....... Superior's Edge When my Superior's Edge Insider travel blog gets off the ground here is one of the special places we love. Hint not many go here unless you are a back packer. So if you are looking for a nice hike in the woods to find a hidden gem on the North Shore of Minnesota --- this is it. This was taken early spring thaw in mid-March 2011. We snowshoed into it. If you go hike or snowshoe in to visit it, please send me a picture of it with the date you visited it. If you head to the North Shore do check out our availability at www.superiorsedge.com So where is is this hidden Gem located Crosby Manitou State Park and its called Cascade Falls.
