Astrotourism is on the rise, with everything from eclipse tours to northern lights expeditions sparking the public’s fascination. We're proud to be included in this Travel Weekly deep dive into the growing demand for astronomy-focused travel, which remains strong, especially following the 2024 total solar eclipse. As Steve Ridgway, president of Criterion Travel, shared, we’re already preparing for the 2027 eclipse, which will offer the longest duration of totality in our lifetime.

One highlight on the horizon: our Total Solar Eclipse Journey to Spain in 2026. Led by astrophysicist Michael Shara, this exclusive experience will take travelers through Madrid, Segovia, Burgos, and Bilbao from August 7–15, 2026.

As ancient Greek sites go, Paestum has somehow stayed under the radar for many travelers, especially when compared to similar ruins in Sicily and Turkey (not to mention Greece itself). What was once a thriving city on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea now boasts three remarkably intact temples, many remains of the old city, and a fine accompanying museum, all well worth a visit.
