Here is from our yesterday trivia game! The temple of San Cristobal is known nowadays for its folklore and tradition around Corpus Christi, a traditional festivity in Cusco. Rebuild after the earthquake in 1650 by Marcos Uscamayta, this temple lies on what is used to be Qollqanpata which means place where are stores. According to many scholars, this was a place build by Manco Capac, the first Inca, and belonged to one of the most important neighborhoods during the Incas.

Aqui esta la respuesta de nuestra pregunta trivia! El templo de San Cristobal es conocido por su folklore y tradicion durante la festividad de Corpus Christi, la cual es una festividad traditional en Cusco. Reconstruido luego del terremoto de 1650 por Marcos Uscamayta, este templo esta construido en parte de lo que fue Qollqanpata el cual significa lugar donde hay depositos. Segun estudios, este lugar fue mandado a edificar por Manco Capac, el primer inca, y pertenecio a uno de los barrios mas importantes durante la epoca Inca.
