This week, 🏡 Ethel Mae's received a slight upgrade - new shower install by Eppers Carpentry, upgraded locks Hanshaw, deep cleaned Stacy Hanshaw Stevens, and Angela Thompson 💫We all met up, worked, cleaned, and readied the space for the next guest.❤️

We have converted the sun room at Ethel Mae's to a cozy room with a day bed. A perfect quiet place to enjoy some reading while doubling as additional sleeping accomodations.

Received a text from our current guests asking if we would mind if they put some hooks up for coats and coveralls in the garage. Since this is something we've been wanting to do, we say of course we don't mind! By all means, go to Bedford Building Supply and put what you need on our account. Then they send us a picture of what they've done!

Changes are taking place at Ethel Mae's Cottage! We are adding a side entrance to the garage for our hunting guests. Walston Concrete will be adding a cement pad to enhance the side entrance. We are also installing new windows in the sun room and will be adding extra sleeping arrangements. We will also be working to replace all windows throughout the house. We've replaced the old washer and dryer with a new set and installed a new hot water heater. We've also added a storm door with screen to the front door so guests are able to leave the main door open and enjoy more light in the living room.
Angela and I would like to thank all of our guests for choosing us and for taking such good card of Ethel Mae's! 🏡

We are just a block from the Frosty Trete - if you stay at Ethel Mae’s you must stop!

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about when our last day of the 2022 Frosty Season is going to be so today I will make the official post……

We are going to try something new this year @ the Frosty, so our last full week(open 7 days a week) of business will end on Sunday September 25th, but then after that date we will be open just weekends(Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays) Thru the last weekend in October, having our final day of the 2022 season on Sunday, October 30th. 😊

Out with the old, in with the new to Ethel Mae's! Found this solid oak table and chairs a few months ago but was waiting to get the other table and chairs re-homed. That happened this past week so got these beautiful pieces all clean up and in place.
