I decided at the end of last week that I need an extra yoga class. I inquired on Monday. So glad that Kathy Graham is starting new classes next week a Bower Center For The Arts. A coinicidence? ... it isn't REALLY magic, it just feels like it. Looking forward to next Wednesday at 8:30! :)

What a cool trend ~ Romance Bookstores. I don't read a lot of romance novels but I'd sure love to spend time in a romance bookstore, and I'm guessing I'd be a new reader.

Bookstores once shunted romance novels to a shelf in the back. But with romance writers dominating the best-seller lists, a network of dedicated bookstores has sprung up around the country.

A couple of nights with my sweet Aunt in Chapel Hill/Pittsborough. I am always glad to have Carolina blue overhead, and Carolina soil under my feet. What a beautiful, cool, breezy day!! Back home tomorrow to prepare for Wednesdays guests. 🩷

I'm behind schedule on seed planting. Sunflowers coming, December 2024!! 🤭 Otherwise the lavender is happy. I'm cutting it back carefully, so the bumbles will still have plenty, and the vincas will get some sunlight and start blooming. Last week I grabbed a bumble by accident. Trying hard not to make that mistake again. Yeowch! It's slow going, stem by stem.

The rhododendron at the lodge are in full bloom, and they are spectacular! Do yourself a favor and carve an hour or two out of your Friday to go see them before the rain moves in for the weekend. 💜

"Overall this stay was one of our top 3 with VRBO in the last 10 years! As soon as we walked in the door, we immediately felt at home. Jane’s place was clean, spacious, and bright! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare a full Easter dinner for our family, and there are many things you don’t normally find as well (snacks, drinks, coffees…etc). Jane was VERY accommodating and helpful to my wife and I throughout the process of booking, our perfect family getaway! The house was plenty big enough and having 2 bathrooms was huge for a family with 3 girls. The beds were great and everything smelled so fresh! There were even chocolates on each bed and the dining room table! There are plenty of personal touches around the house, but we especially loved the original artwork in every room! The neighborhood was quiet and off the beaten path, but only min’s away from highways to take you wherever you want to go! Example, it’s just about 30 min’s to Liberty U., where our son is a Jr., and as long as Jane has availability, we’ll definitely be back!

I seriously get the sweetest guests! I opened the third bedroom for a trial run this weekend. They knew it was the a trial ,and I'd asked them to please let me know if they could hear the TV (which is below this room). The girls left cute sticky notes around the house. 🌷
