One of the most common questions I get asked, “Isn’t it hard to get in around other countries?? They don’t have ADA!” True - ADA is the American Disabilities Act:) But there are people all over the world that overcome issues with mobility daily(as well as other hurdles.) True, there some very historic places that probably will never become accessible. But most are, so I suggest ask, research beforehand (I can help with this!), and use a few tricks! One of my favorites is to use Google Maps for walking directions but put the mode as “wheelchair” for the most accessible route. This is also great for those who want to avoid stairs, if you’re pushing a stroller, or pulling roller bags!

Heading somewhere new? Don’t forget to download the offline map for your destination before you leave. 📲🌎

If you’re traveling somewhere you won’t have reliable Wi-Fi or cellular service, having an offline map can be a lifesaver! You can still navigate streets and find your way around without constantly searching for a signal.

✅ Download your destination map before you go
✅ Make sure it’s available offline
✅ Save your hotel and other important locations
✅ Check your map before heading out for the day

💡 Pro Tip: Don’t wait until you’re standing in the airport trying to figure out where you’re going. Download it while you’re still at home and connected to Wi-Fi!

🥁 The answer is… MORE THAN 160 COUNTRIES! 🌍

In 2026, May 1 is listed as a Labor Day holiday in 172 countries, including Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Greece, Mexico, Brazil, China, and many more.

I was recently in Italy on May 1, and it was so interesting to experience their Festa del Lavoro (Labor Day) firsthand! Italy observes May 1 as a nationwide public holiday, and their were tons of people out and about.

One of my favorite things about travel is discovering these little cultural differences that you might never notice from home! ✈️❤️
