Great news! Land of Oz reopens this year for Autumn at Oz in September and a new immersive experience in June. More details to come! These events will be held at the remains of the former amusement park atop Beech Mtn, NC, that operated 1970-1980. There were no events there in 2025. Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Wizard. Get your costumes ready! Your favorite Oz characters and songs return for a homecoming.

Join us on Saturday, March 7, at Beech Mountain Resort for our Annual Runs for Buns fundraiser benefiting the Colon Cancer Coalition.

Spend the day skiing or snowboarding for a cause. Participants will ride Lift 5 and complete as many runs as possible, with RFID tracking and a special participant lift line. Final tallies and awards will be announced during the evening program.

Schedule:
7:30–9:00 a.m. | Check-in
9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. | Runs on Lift 5
6:00 p.m. | Program & Awards

Pre-registration required by 8:00 p.m. on March 7.
Registration fee: $10 per person
