Who is behind the scenes at Lochleven Mountain Vacations on Beech Mountain? June B. Strickland maintains the Owner Accounts and keeps our Housekeeping invoices checked and balanced against the books. She helps Guest with questions at times and she makes sure Beech Mountain, Avery, Watauga and the State of North Carolina gets paid. Her attitude is always great . You deserve kindness and professional service that June offers.
June spends a lot of her time in her home in Ocean Isle Beach with her husband Carson and taking care of her Parents who are in their 90s in Nebo, NC, plus being a great Mom and Grandma to her 4 children and 9 Grandchildren.

You know how you tell if someone has been poor and can stretch pantry supplies?
3 week head of lettuce, tear off the brown spots, chop, add lemon from a old lemon in the fridge. Get some ranch out of the fridge for dressing.
Cook the rest of those food lion meatballs you were saving, add a can of tomato soup your friend gave you, throw in a pack of taco seasoning.
Cook slow 4 hours.
Found some low carb tortilla wraps in the cupboard.
If you are hungry, you will eat it. If you don't like to waste food, you will also eat it.

National Sasquatch Awareness Day is officially recognized on October 20, inspired by the anniversary of the famous Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot footage from 1967. At Bigfoot Club, the spirit of October 20th can be celebrated every day by honoring Sasquatch lore, sharing stories, and engaging the community just like on that national day.

LochLeven Mountain Vacations announces its partnership with Crew Dogs. Crew Dogs is a platform where Veterans can find homes with up towards a 15% military discount. It is run by Veterans but you don't need to be a Veteran to host. All of our listings on Beech Mountain/Sugar Mountain are on Crew Dogs and 4 other platforms as well. My Dad was a disabled Vietnam Veteran. He really struggled for years but took care of his Country and Family. There are ways to give back and support. Consider joining us.
