☀️When the weather is this beautiful, there’s no way I’m staying behind a desk!

So today, I grabbed my son, walked to our favorite local brewery, and spent the afternoon doing schoolwork and booking trips together. One of the things I love most about being a travel advisor is that I can work from just about anywhere.

And speaking of travel… May was an incredible month! 🤩

Traveling with food allergies can be incredibly stressful for families. Every meal takes extra planning, extra questions, and a lot of trust. As a mom of a child with severe food allergies since toddlerhood, I never forget the moments when a destination goes above and beyond to make my son feel safe and included.

On one of our trips to Walt Disney World, we were at a buffet character dinner where James couldn’t eat anything from the dessert bar. Instead of letting him feel left out, Disney did what Disney does best. The chef personally came out with an entire tray of safe desserts made just for him. But the sweetest part? They also brought him a light-up Tinkerbell clip that he proudly wore the rest of the trip.

I stood there crying tears of joy because in that moment, my child didn’t feel different. He felt special. And it helped that one of Cinderella’s stepsisters had a little kiss on the cheek for him too 💋

Experiences like this are why working with someone who understands your family’s needs matters so much when planning travel. The memories are always about more than just the destination. ❤️

Yesterday, my daughter walked across the stage at her high school graduation, and my heart still can’t believe how fast the years have gone.

Life truly flies by. Don’t wait for the “perfect time” to take the trip, make the memories, say yes to the moments, find love and happiness, or spend time with the people you love. Life is short, and every moment matters. ❤️

Today, I joined thousands of athletes across the country to complete Murph, a Memorial Day workout honoring Lt. Michael P. Murphy and all of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Murph is more than just a workout. It consists of a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another 1-mile run. It’s physically challenging, but the purpose behind it is what truly matters. Side note…today was the first time that I completed the entire thing by myself (modified movements for this old lady)!

On a day that can easily become about cookouts and long weekends, Murph is a reminder that freedom is never free. Today, we remember, honor, and thank those who gave everything for this country. 🇺🇸
