Brenda - Marvelous Mouse Travels I've been to Walt Disney World multiple times since I was a child.

It wasn't until I took my family, my husband and two kids, for the first time in 2013 that I became a Disney fanatic! I want to help other families create the same magical memories that mine had, making the most out of every moment. Sometimes I have to pinch myself and remind myself that THIS is my job. 🥹✨

Here I am, sitting at a vanity in what would have been Walt Disney’s closet, looking in the mirror and thinking about how incredibly lucky I am.

I get to turn my love of travel, Disney, and making memories into a career. I get to help families plan their dream vacations, celebrate milestones, experience places they’ve always dreamed of visiting, and make memories they’ll talk about for years to come.

Is it work? Absolutely. There are long days, countless details, and a whole lot that happens behind the scenes. But moments like this remind me WHY I do it.

What started as a love of travel has become something I’m so proud to have built. And the fact that I get to share that passion with my clients? That’s the real magic. ❤️🏰

🍔🍹 I went to Disney California Adventure to try a new restaurant. But what happened during lunch was NOT on the itinerary! 🤯🎬

One of the new spots I got to try on my recent trip was Lamplight Lounge, and it did NOT disappoint!

We snagged a table downstairs right by the water, where we enjoyed beautiful views of the park, a delicious burger, and some seriously good drinks. 🌊✨ Talk about the perfect spot to relax and soak up the Disney magic!

But then came the unexpected surprise… 👀 We got to watch them FILM an episode of Abbott Elementary right there in the park! 🎬🤩 As a fan of the show, getting to see the talented actors and crew in action was such a cool, unexpected experience!

And honestly, the food, the views, and the surprise entertainment were all wonderful, but sharing it with my travel agent friends who have become so much more like family made it even more special. ❤️

These are the moments that remind me that travel is about so much more than where you go. It’s about the experiences, the unexpected surprises, and the people you share them with.

Some nights are just special. And then there are nights you have to pinch yourself and think, “Is this REALLY my life?!” 🥹✨

Last night was a literal DREAM. I had the incredible honor of experiencing 21 Royal at Disneyland Park, thanks to Kari & Jason, the owners of Marvelous Mouse Travels, who treated their Top 12 agents to this truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

21 Royal is an exclusive dining and entertainment experience in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square, inspired by Walt Disney’s vision for an elegant private residence within the park. And getting to experience it firsthand? Absolutely surreal. ❤️

I’ve spent years helping other people experience Disney magic, so being on the other side of it last night was pretty darn special.

There are SO many details, stories, and moments I want to share, but I’m going to make you wait. 😉

✨ MMT Conference: Days 1 & 2! ✨

If you’ve ever wondered what a travel advisor actually DOES at a conference…well, it’s definitely not all pool cocktails and theme parks. 😉 (Although, those were involved too. 😂)

I arrived at the Grand Californian and immediately took advantage of the fact that Anaheim decided it was still summer. Pool food, pool cocktails, and a little swimming? Yes, please! ☀️🍹

Then came the work…and there was A LOT of it!

🏰 I was treated to an incredible dinner by Disney as one of their top sellers—a pretty special way to kick off conference!

🎓 Spent time in training sessions covering ALL things Disney, learning about products, updates, and what’s coming next. I even got to participate on a panel and share some of my own sales strategies with fellow advisors.

📺 Watched the Disney Believe announcement LIVE—which is always pretty exciting when you’re a Disney nerd AND a travel advisor!

🎢 Of course, I couldn’t come to California without spending some time in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. Research is important, people. 😏

🌊 Enjoyed a private viewing area for World of Color—and WOW.

🚢 Had some fantastic 1-on-1 time with National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions and AmaWaterways, learning more about experiences I can bring to my clients.

❤️ And probably my favorite part? Laughing, catching up, and making memories with my travel advisor friends and colleagues from all over the country.

Two days down, and my brain is FULL. 😂

But this is exactly why I come to conferences. The training, the relationships, the firsthand experiences, and the industry connections all make me a better travel advisor for YOU.

Today, I stepped outside my comfort zone. 😬

I accepted an invitation to be part of a small panel to talk to my peers, and I’ll be honest, talking to your peers is TERRIFYING. 😂

Yes, I was a high school teacher for 15 years and stood in front of people every single day.
Yes, I’ve performed on stage in dozens of musicals. 🎭

But somehow, standing up in front of people who do what I do feels completely different!

I was nervous. I overthought it. I probably talked faster than I should have. 😂 But I did it!

And I think it went pretty well. ❤️

So today’s little reminder: sometimes growth looks like saying yes to something that scares you.

The next 6 days are going to be filled with trainings, networking, presentations, some park fun, and quality time spent with my friends and fellow agents at our Marvelous Mouse Travels conference! There are so many things happening this week that I’ve never experienced before, so stay tuned!!!!
