The biggest problem I see everyday on equipment is water in the gas or leaving the gas in the equipment for an extended period of time. I just replace the carburetor on a mower that was only two years old! Just from leaving gas in the carburetor. These problems are mainly caused by ethanol in our gas supply. Always use ethanol free gas if possible in your small engine. You can help this problem by turning off the gas and letting the engine run until it quits. If you do not have a inline valve to shut off the gas you can install one or I can for you, it will save you in the long run.
