MEMORIES MATTER ❤️

I was looking through travel pictures and honestly could have picked about 100 for this post. 😂 I have so many that immediately bring back a memory or a feeling.

That Fort Lauderdale sunset with the skyline, the sea air and being on a cruise ship? Just peaceful. ❤️ I love those moments when you're traveling and you just stop and take it all in.

The cruise with our boys and my parents makes me smile every single time I think about it. We had SO much fun. So many belly laughs and moments together that I will always remember. I really love traveling with my people. And now our little family keeps expanding with the boys' significant others, which means even more people to make memories with. ❤️

And Barbados...I just love Barbados. 😂 It might still be my favorite Caribbean spot so far. I keep trying new places to compare, but Barbados is just a vibe. I can't even explain it better than that.

Then there's Dave and Kermit. 😂 I love Flower & Garden, we had so much fun taking pictures with all the topiaries, and Dave does a pretty great Kermit impersonation. That picture just makes me laugh.

That's the thing about travel pictures for me. I don't just see where we went. I remember how it felt, who I was with, what made us laugh and those little moments I probably would have forgotten otherwise.

I have so many pictures that do that for me.

And I can't wait to keep adding more—with my favorite people. ❤️

GOLF WITH A SIDE OF CARIBBEAN? ⛳🌴 Yes please!

This is a golf trip I can get behind. 😂

Spend part of your day out on the course surrounded by palm trees and tropical views...then head back to an all-inclusive resort for the beach, pool, great food and everything else waiting for you.

And here's what I love about a trip like this: everyone doesn't even have to golf!

If golf is your thing, you've got time on the course. If it isn't, I can think of MUCH worse ways to spend the day than at a Sandals resort while someone else plays 18. 😂

And if you both love golf? Even better.

Sandals has several resorts where golf can be part of the vacation, making it a really fun option for couples, friends or even a group getaway.

OCEAN CRUISING 101: NOT ALL CRUISE LINES ARE THE SAME 🚢

Not all cruise lines offer the same experience—and that's actually one of the best things about cruising.

Some are lively and activity-packed. Some are more relaxed and elevated. Some focus heavily on families, while others cater more to adults. And some put more of the focus on the destinations themselves.

So when we're figuring out which cruise line fits you, your preferences matter.

How important is food? What kind of entertainment do you enjoy? Do you want tons of activities or more time to relax? What kind of ports do you want to visit?

Then we can look at things like price, what's included, service and guest-to-crew ratio, ship sizes, nightlife, kids' programs and the overall vibe onboard.

And even within the same cruise line, the ship and itinerary can make a big difference in the experience.

Your answer might be different depending on the trip, too! The cruise line that's perfect for a family vacation may not be the one you'd choose for an anniversary or an Alaska adventure.

There isn't one “best” cruise line.

There are cruise lines that are better fits for different people and different vacations.

Once I know what matters to you, I can take all of those choices and start narrowing them down pretty quickly.

The goal isn't to look at every cruise line. It's to find the ones that fit you.

I'm pretty sure views like this are exactly why vacation days exist. 😂

This is Sandals Dunn's River in Jamaica. We already love Jamaica, and in February we'll be heading back to try yet another resort there—and I can't wait to experience this one for myself! ❤️

OCEAN CRUISING 101: WHAT DOES YOUR CRUISE FARE ACTUALLY INCLUDE? 🚢

One of the things I love about cruising is how much of your vacation is already built into the price.

Your stateroom, transportation from one destination to the next, meals in included dining venues, entertainment, pools and plenty of activities around the ship are generally all part of your cruise fare.

You can wake up in a new destination, spend the day exploring, come back to the ship for dinner and a show, and wake up somewhere completely different the next morning—all without packing another suitcase. ❤️

But this is also where cruise pricing can start to feel a little like the Wild West. 😂

Some cruise lines have fares that automatically include extras like drinks and Wi-Fi. Some start with just the basics and let you add what you want. And some give you both options—a basic fare or a more inclusive fare with additional perks bundled in.

Then there are cruise lines that include even more as part of the experience. Add in specialty dining, excursions, spa treatments, upgraded beverages and other optional extras, and you can see why two cruise prices sitting next to each other aren't always an apples-to-apples comparison.

Gratuities are another important piece of the total cost. Some fares or packages include them and some don't. When they aren't included, I generally add prepaid gratuities to the quotes I prepare because they're something you should plan to pay either way.

I'm a big believer in understanding what your vacation is really going to cost early in the planning process. I want you to know what's included, what isn't, and what additional expenses you should expect so there aren't surprises later.

And that's why comparing cruises based only on the advertised price doesn't always tell you the whole story.

Two cruises that initially look similar may actually include very different things. Sometimes the one with the lower starting price isn't the better value once we account for what you actually want included.

Because I know the cruise lines and how they structure their fares and packages, I can help you compare the real vacation—not just the starting price.

The good news is that having choices is a good thing.

Some travelers love having as much bundled into the price as possible. Others would rather start with a lower fare and only pay for the extras they'll actually use.

Neither is necessarily better.

It's about figuring out how you like to vacation, what matters to you and which option gives you the experience you're looking for.

Know what's included. Know what you should plan to spend. Understand your choices. Then we can find the cruise that fits you.
