Visit Belle Fourche is a registered non-profit corporation with the state of South Dakota and a section 501(c)(3) entity with the Internal Revenue Service. It is not our intent to be another member-based organization, but rather to work collaboratively with all area organizations, entities and individuals to promote tourism to our area. OUR MISSION

(1) To positively impact tourism growth to our area. (2) To see the website, VisitBelleFourche.com at the top of organic search engine results. (3) To see evidence our website attracts internet traffic that passes along the visitors to links and information about our local businesses, organizations & attractions. (4) To make it easy for our local businesses, organizations and attractions to keep their information updated on the website. OUR APPROACH
• We will capture the attention of our intended audience by creating the website, VisitBelleFourche.com, which will be a comprehensive, online catalog and resource of opportunities to EAT, PLAY, SHOP & STAY in the greater Belle Fourche area.
• We will work collaboratively with other individuals and organizations within the community to produce a quality and user-friendly product.
• After site launch, we will measure site traffic and pass-through links to allow us to make informed decisions about site content moving forward. WHAT WE ARE NOT:
It is not our intent to be a membership-based organization at this time. Our intent is to work as closely as possible with all entities and individuals who have a vested interest in promoting tourism to our area. We do not have any plans to produce printed media at this time and will be working openly and collaboratively with those that do. WHAT WE ARE:
We are a group of individuals who want to pool our talents and resources to produce a meaningful and useful online presence for advertising and promoting tourism to our area. We intend to be “Switzerland” as it pertains to all the other membership-based entities in our area. We will be working to include and promote all tourism-related businesses, organizations and events on the website. Our 501(c)(3) status will allow us flexibility in finding funding for the project as needed.
