Because apparently my version of “let’s grab some tacos” comes with a boarding pass, a passport stamp, sunshine and an authentic Mexican taco! 😂😂

Was it necessary? Absolutely not.

Was it worth it? 1000%. 😋🌮

Recently, I was asked what my favorite country has been to visit—and honestly, it wasn’t an easy choice. It came down to the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) and Aruba.
While Aruba will always have my heart for its beauty and relaxing vibes, Dubai stands out for reasons that might surprise you. It’s not just about the flying dresses, camel rides, or ATV adventures (although those are incredible!). What truly captured me was the innovation—the stunning infrastructure and architecture, the cutting-edge technology, the fresh juices and food on nearly every corner, and yes…those breathtaking sky pools.
But beyond all of that, there’s a sense of order and safety that really stayed with me. The level of respect for law and the low tolerance for violence creates an environment that feels both elevated and secure.
With that being said, I am beyond excited to return—this time with my family—so they can experience the magic, beauty, and inspiration that I felt firsthand.
If Dubai has ever been on your travel list, consider this your sign…✨

✈️ Traveling to Europe Soon? Here’s What You Need to Know About the New EES System 🇪🇺

Starting now, the EU has launched its new Entry/Exit System (EES) — which means no more passport stamps for visitors from outside the EU & Schengen area (like us from the U.S.).

📸 🧾 The new system will collect your fingerprints, a photo, and basic passport info the first time you arrive — all done at self-service kiosks or immigration desks.

💡 Once your profile is in the system, future trips will be quicker with facial recognition and automated gates.

🔐 Your data is stored securely for 3 years, and children under 12 don’t need to provide fingerprints.

🗓️ The full rollout is expected by April 2026, but many borders are already starting the process. So don’t be surprised if you’re asked to register when flying into Europe!

👉 Reminder: Non-EU visitors can only stay 90 days within a 180-day period in the Schengen Zone.

✨ This system is meant to enhance security and make future travel smoother — so just plan a few extra minutes at border control if you're heading overseas soon.
