PHW North Sound has been a blast to volunteer with over the last handful of years. It's been in large part my work with these veterans that have inspired me to set up my own company - super fun to give back, and a new way to enjoy my sport.

Props to Jeff Sturm for helping to orchestrate these outings as always. Our local Whatcom warm water lakes do not disappoint during the summer months 🌞

Sometimes fishing turns into just floating, and that's okay during the hot summer months 🔥 I had the privilege of introducing and her pup Rizzo to the Skagit during our last heatwave in June. Though we've lived just 90 minutes apart for the last 4 years, it's taken this long for schedules to align for this trip

Ange is one of my original Montana friends and as close to a sister as I've had in this lifetime. It was fun to get to show her more of her own backyard through new eyes on the water 🚣‍♀️ a stop to trackside after was a summer must!

Fun naturalist tour float this past weekend with Jaye Stover and her son, Parr, as supporters of a recent Skagit Land Trust raffle. I knew I would need my fish trivia on point with a name like that!

We floated from Rockport to Concrete, stopping at the Sauk confluence along the way. As luck would have it, we came across some of the biggest bear tracks I've seen in the state on the island created by the braids of the Sauk 🐻 Definitely a cool find! *And a reminder to bring bear spray next trip 😂
