America 250 celebrations continue in Historic Belmont! 🇺🇸

Be one of the first to see Belmont's newest Main Street mural at the unveiling ceremony on Thursday, June 4, at 12 PM. Created by local muralist Boyce McKinney, the artwork honors Major William Chronicle and the South Fork Boys, local Revolutionary War heroes who fought in the pivotal Battle of Kings Mountain.

"We believe their courage and sacrifice should be remembered and honored, particularly as we're celebrating our country's founding," said DAR member Melissa Humbert.

The mural serves as a lasting tribute to the local soldiers whose service helped shape our nation's history. A reception at the Belmont Historical Society will follow the unveiling.
