**NEWS FLASH**

IN REGARDS TO THE 2025, CUT FOOT SIOUX WALLEYE SPAWNING OPERATION, from Dan Schermerhorn, Large Lake Specialist | Fisheries, MNDNR...

It is that time of year when we are starting to get a lot of calls about the Cut Foot egg-take operation. I wanted to let you all know that we are running the dock this year and as of right now we plan to take about 820 quarts of eggs. The timing is completely dependent on weather and ice conditions, but we plan to start the process of staging equipment and constructing the dock in the next few days. We will most likely be working on it through the upcoming Easter weekend and will start taking eggs as soon as the fish are ready...

FROM CUT FOOT SIOUX RESORT...

We ourselves have received quite a few phone calls & drive ins this past week asking for updates on this and will keep our page up to date as we know their plans...Stay tuned...
