Your credit card might come with some fun perks…
But it doesn’t know that you want a beautiful hotel without a stuffy vibe, that your husband refuses to change hotels every two nights, or that nobody in the family is waking up at 6 AM on vacation. 😂

That’s the difference.

I’m not just booking the trip — I’m learning how you like to travel and making all those little decisions accordingly. With VIP perks added too!

And when something changes while you’re away? You’re texting me… not calling the number on the back of your card. 😉
That’s the part of having a travel advisor people don’t always realize until they have one.

Luxury travel advisor sounds glamorous until you realize my average day looks something like this...

🏨 Comparing six nearly identical suites that somehow all have completely different vibes.
🇮🇹 Calling Italy.
🇯🇵 Calling Japan.
🇮🇹 Calling Italy again because it’s siesta time.
☕ Reheating the same cup of coffee for the third time.

Somewhere in between all of that, incredible trips come together.

And yes... I will spend 45 minutes debating between two hotels because one has a better pool and the other has better pillows.

It’s a problem. But it’s your problem now, too. 😉

Meanwhile, I’m a city girl who spent approximately 20 minutes in the Bavarian Alps before convincing myself I was ready for a quiet mountain life filled with lake walks, fresh air, and absolutely no emails. 🏔️

The delusion was strong. 😏

But honestly, I think we all need trips like this every once in a while.

The kind that get you outside, slow you down, and remind you that maybe life isn’t supposed to feel so rushed all the time.

Tell me I’m not the only one who would think the same thing sitting here and looking at that view?

Life lately has been a mix of really exciting things…
and quiet little moments that remind me I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

A good routine.
Things to look forward to.
Feeling proud of how far I’ve come.

Just a reminder that not every win has to be huge to matter. ( but there are HUGE exciting things happening in my world right now)

Sometimes the little things are actually the big things.

Respectfully…
I don’t think the problem is the destination.

I think some of you are doing too much on vacation.

Like… why are we trying to see 5 cities in 6 days?
You don’t need to see everything.

You need a hotel you love.
A slow morning.
A dinner that turns into drinks.
And at least one moment where you think, wait… this is really nice.

Be honest—
Are you a “maximize every second” traveler or a “let’s order another round” traveler? 😏

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who somehow do it all.

To the moms, stepmoms, grandmas, bonus moms, and women showing up with love in all kinds of ways—

The ones remembering every detail, taking care of everyone around them, and still showing up with love every single day.
I hope today feels slow.
I hope someone else makes the plans.
And I hope there’s a really good meal involved.

You deserve that and more.

And to my daughter… thank you for making me a mom. That will always be one of the best things that ever happened to me. 🤍

Buenos Aires isn’t a city you overplan.
It’s one you do well.

Long café mornings. (With cafes that look like palaces!)
A little shopping in Recoleta. (Shop the small local spots!)
A tango show that turns into your whole night. (Go VIP and add the dinner!)
And a hotel you don’t rush out of. (Walkability is key here!)
PLUS…the best food!!!

You don’t try to see everything.
You just enjoy what you’re doing.
That’s the difference.

Save this for later — and when it turns into “we should actually go,” you know who to text.

At a high school career expo yesterday, I had one main thought:
High school me was stressed for no reason.

So here’s what I’d tell her:

Relax. Nobody has it figured out.
Start before you feel ready.
Travel more, overthink less.
Confidence is built, not gifted.

The life you want is going to take a minute… keep going.
And maybe stop caring what random people think.

If you could tell high school you one thing… what would it be?
