Hey, hey, hey!!!! It's time to celebrate the fourth of July in Sumpter, Oregon, and we're hosting a bash at the stage stop bar and restaurant. Come hungry and thirsty, because we've got a great pizza menu, full menu, and full bar. Don't miss our Friday and Saturday night dinner specials, and start your day off right with breakfast from 8 to 11 AM - kiddos are welcome!
We will be having live music in the bar on Friday night from 7 PM to 11 PM. Come dance the night away! 🎶 💃 🕺

Trail # 5 Wanoga Sno-Park to Todd Lake Junction,
Trail # 7 to Tree Line,
Trail # 45, 54 into Kapka Sno-Park,
Trail #4 from the tunnel to Trail #25,
Trail #25 from # 5 to # 252,
Trail # 252, Trail # 2 to Trail # 3 into Wanoga Sno-Park.

Temperatures ranged from 35 to 13.
Snow showers and wind to clear.

The Central Oregon Avalanche Center is aware of an avalanche incident and is supporting Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue (DCSOSAR) as needed.

DCSOSAR responded overnight to a reported avalanche burial. The incident was reported in the area of Snowmobile Trail 8 between the junction with Trail 88 and Trail 6 (Forest Service Road 370). This area is commonly known as Happy Valley.

DCSOSAR is asking the public to avoid the area and be aware of additional Search and Rescue and law enforcement resources responding.

This is an active incident, and we will provide updates as we are able.
