🤫 I feel like I should whisper this so we don’t jinx anyone currently twirling down Main Street… but today is National Rain Day. ☔
I know, I know—rain is basically the worst four-letter word when it comes to Disney vacation planning. You wake up, check your weather app, and there it is: 100% chance of sogginess. 🌧️
But here’s the thing—rain is a regular guest at Walt Disney World, especially in the spring, summer, and early fall. Florida storms love to crash the party, and usually roll in during the afternoon like clockwork. Sometimes they last 10 minutes. Sometimes… not so much. 😅
The good news? With the right mindset (and a good poncho), rainy days can still be magical. In fact, they can even work in your favor:
💡 Pro Tips for Rainy Park Days
✔️ Ponchos over umbrellas – easier to carry and don’t block views in crowds
✔️ Head to indoor rides or shows like Mickey’s PhilharMagic, The Land Pavilion, Carousel of Progress, or Flight of Passage
✔️ Bring a Ziploc or two to protect your phone and MagicBand
✔️ Pack extra socks or wear sandals that dry quickly
✔️ Crowds usually thin out – so ride while they hide!
Now I want to know… what’s YOUR rainy day strategy at Disney?
🏃♀️ Dash back to the resort?
🛍️ Shop till the storm passes?
🎢 Run to your favorite indoor attraction like a seasoned pro?
