Benson Then and Now 🏜️
This week, we head over to the Horseshoe.

This iconic restaurant has seen many transformations over the years. Once just a one-story building, it now stands before us, changed by time and filled with so many amazing stories to tell.

These two photos share just a small piece of that history. The first was taken back in 1958 — and I absolutely love the outfits the waitresses were wearing! I know I’d have a hard time keeping a light-colored dress that clean if it were me. I bet those dresses were perfectly pressed and heavily starched.

It makes me wonder what the food was like back then. Did they have the same wonderful choices we enjoy today at the Horseshoe? Or were there completely different favorites on the menu? It is a same welcoming atmosphere!

Places like this are more than buildings — they’re pieces of Benson’s story. ❤️
