Did you know Bermuda Day is considered the unofficial start of summer in Bermuda? 🇧🇲☀️
Celebrated each May, Bermuda Day is a national holiday filled with island pride, traditions, and colorful celebrations. Locals celebrate with parades, music, dancing, community events, and even the famous Bermuda Day Half Marathon Derby!
It’s also the day many Bermudians officially head to the beaches and kick off boating season — which honestly sounds like a pretty great tradition to me. 🌴💗
One of the things I love most about travel is learning not just about the beautiful places themselves, but also the traditions and culture that make each destination special.
And Bermuda truly is special… from the pink sand beaches and turquoise water to the colorful towns and welcoming island charm.
Happy Bermuda Day! 🇧🇲
