Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy (FJDM) seeks to provide hope and new life to hurting people, in various locations, with a focus especially on the children. This "new life" is made manifest through endeavors to meet the physical and spiritual need

s of the poor, the homeless, and the downtrodden, globally. Sharing time, talent and finances enables projects designed to encourage prayer and often introduce some villages to the precious heaven-sent gifts of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary. While placing an emphasis on the vocal aspects of the prayers in the Presence of the Blessed Sacrament, we are including yet another element. We incorporate reverent, universally understood movements to the prayers thus enhancing the depth of the prayer experience, which promotes unity with God and one another. We are working with local Church leaders to distribute our Family Eucharistic Holy Hour program in various languages to respective cultures to introduce and teach about The Divine Mercy worldwide, including, but not limited to, praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as given to Sister (Saint) Faustina. We also embrace the opportunities we encounter locally to teach and encourage our children and families to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary, thus following the guidance of Our Lord (The Divine Mercy) and Our Lady (The Ark of The New Covenant), joyfully praying these powerful devotions before the Blessed Sacrament. We believe this structure will unite us with the Hearts of Jesus and Mary to bring about healing in the mystical body of Christ. The intent of our work is simple - to share the merciful love God has for all His people. We are called to be His hands, so we extend His mercy. We are called to be His witnesses, so we teach His mercy throughout the world. We ask that you join in our work to bring hope to His chosen, and ask that you prayerfully consider how you can help. + "I desire that priests proclaim this great mercy of Mine towards souls of sinners. Let the sinner not be afraid to approach Me. The flames of mercy are burning Me — clamoring to be spent; I want to pour them out upon these souls."

Jesus complained to me in these words, "Distrust on the part of souls is tearing at My insides. The distrust of a chosen soul causes Me even greater pain; despite My inexhaustible love for them they do not trust Me. Even My death is not enough for them. Woe to the soul that abuses these [gifts]."

REFLECTION

Scripture: Have confidence in the Lord with all your heart, and do not depend upon your own prudence. In all your ways, consider him, and he himself will direct your steps. (Proverbs 3:5,6)

Prayer: Lord Jesus, You desire trusting souls. You tell Saint Faustina that sinners should not be afraid to approach You; that Your great mercy is waiting to be poured out upon souls.

Lord, we want to be among the souls that receive Your great mercy. May we always strive to have a deeper trust in You. Guide and direct us in what we say and do.

Action: Pray these words throughout the day today,” Jesus I trust in You.” Ask God to help you to grow in trusting Him.

NOTEBOOK I

When I told this to my confessor, I received this for a reply: “That refers to your soul.” He told me, “Certainly, paint God’s image in your soul.” When I came out of the confessional, I again heard words such as these: "My image already is in your soul. I desire that there be a Feast of Mercy. I want this image, which you will paint with a brush, to be solemnly blessed on the first Sunday after Easter; that Sunday is to be the Feast of Mercy."

REFLECTION

Scripture: My sheep hear my voice. And I know them, and they follow me. (John 10:27)

Prayer: Dear Jesus, even when Saint Faustina hears differently from a priest in Confession, Your voice is able to be heard in her soul. Your words are known so clearly to her.

Help us to be Your sheep and to hear Your voice. Above every other voice, may we learn to hear You. Help us to develop the habits and ways of prayer and life that will help us to listen to Your voice. When we hear Your voice, may we follow it.

Action: Consider spending some quiet time today to listen for God. Consider evaluating the habits of your life; ask God what you might do to be able to listen more regularly for His voice in your soul.

Prayer: Lord, we give You thanks for these powerful words to Saint Faustina. Your promises for those who venerate the image of Your Divine Mercy should give us great hope. Lord, we pray to be among those who venerate Your image of Mercy and receive these promises.

In the evening, when I was in my cell, I saw the Lord Jesus clothed in a white garment. One hand [was] raised in the gesture of blessing, the other was touching the garment at the breast. From beneath the garment, slightly drawn aside at the breast, there were emanating two large rays, one red, the other pale. In silence I kept my gaze fixed on the Lord; my soul was struck with awe, but also with great joy. After a while, Jesus said to me, "Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: Jesus, I trust in You. I desire that this image be venerated, first in your chapel, and [then] throughout the world."

REFLECTION

Scripture: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation. (2 Corinthians 1:3)

Prayer: Lord, we give You thanks for this vision of Saint Faustina that we have come to know as the image of Divine Mercy. In this early vision, we see your desire that this image be venerated throughout the world. May we be among those throughout the world who venerate the image of Your mercy, who pray with the rays of blood and water that flow from Your heart and who say the words in our heart: “Jesus, I trust in You.” Help us all to spend time with this image, and through it come to know Your love and mercy more and more.

Action: Find and image of the Divine Mercy and spend some time in prayer with it today.

REFLECTION

Scripture: Set me like a seal upon your heart, like a seal upon your arm. For love is strong, like death, and envy is enduring, like hell: their lamps are made of fire and flames. A multitude of waters cannot extinguish love, nor can a river overwhelm it. If a man were to give all the substance of his house in exchange for love, he would despise it as nothing. (Song of Songs 8:6-8)

Prayer: Lord, we cannot fathom the great Love of Your Passion, or the love that You have had from eternity. We can read about it from the writings of Saint Faustina. We can ponder it in Your word. We can meditate on Your Passion and try to enter into it by our own sacrifices and sufferings. But we cannot truly grasp the depths of Your love.

Help us Lord. Help us to know Your love and to rejoice in the great gift of Your love for us. Help us respond with love through the way we pray and in all that we say and do.

Action: Spend five minutes today gazing upon a crucifix in prayer; ask God to help you to know His love.
