London has a few culinary secrets left, and Operations Specialist Sarah just experienced them. She recently joined a private food tour through Chinatown and the West End's best-kept culinary spots.

"I had the pleasure of sampling the Pig's Head on Toast appetizer at Blacklock Soho, an underground restaurant that feels posh without being pretentious," Sarah shared.

"We happened upon a wedding and the family invited us in, fed us and shared many (many) toasts of rice moonshine. It was really priceless," says Vaya client Vann Jennings, reflecting on an unforgettable trip through Vietnam and Cambodia.

Two hours from Puerto Natales sits one of the last working estancias in Patagonia.

📍Estancia Cerro Guido

Cerro Guido has been raising sheep and cattle since the 19th century, and today it's also one of the most immersive stays in the region. Over 222,000 acres of private land in the Sierra Baguales and Las Chinas areas means guests get access to trails and landscapes almost no one else sees.

Arrival here isn't a check-in, it's a rueda. Guests are welcomed by the estancia's gauchos and chefs with mulled wine, mate, and alfajores, then get a tour of the shearing sheds (home to 20,000+ sheep), the horse stables, and the small on-site community that keeps the estancia running.

From there it's asado twice a week with Patagonian lamb and produce from the estancia's own garden, horseback riding led by working gauchos, wildlife excursions focused on puma and condor conservation, and hiking in Torres del Paine, just 30 minutes away.

Nestled on a private island in the middle of the Nile River, this is the perfect way to end an East African safari.

📍Lemala Wildwaters, Uganda

Surrounded by powerful white-water rapids, Wildwaters is only accessible by boat, and its island setting naturally insulates guests from the outside world. After weeks of game drives and gorilla trekking, this is where the adventure shifts into recovery.

The Begalke and Fattore families are currently in the heart of the Serengeti at Sametu Camp, and the wildlife sightings have already been unforgettable.
