Our team had the privilege of encountering this elephant in the Manyeleti bush in March. Standing so close was a humbling and unforgettable experience.

Africa’s most iconic predator takes center stage as we celebrate World Lion Day. Founded in 2013 by Derek and Beverly Joubert, this global movement was created to raise awareness about the growing challenges lions face in the wild.

Lions symbolize strength, courage, and the untamed spirit of Africa. Yet today, their numbers are in alarming decline. African lion populations have dropped by 43% since 2001, and without meaningful action, their future remains uncertain.
