🔹 Earn your Gate Master Tech status by completing all four certifications:
✅ Automated Gate Operator Installer
✅ Automated Gate Systems Technician Level 1
✅ Automated Gate Systems Technician Level 2
✅ NEW Automated Gate Systems Technician Level 3

📍 Taking your certification exams at FenceTech?
All four technician exams, plus the Automated Gate Systems Designer exam, will be available Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 8:00 AM at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, UT.

As the year comes to a close, we bid a heartfelt farewell to one of AutoGate's most cherished employees. After an extraordinary 27.5-year journey with the company, we are celebrating the retirement of Ed Strobel—a true legend and historian of AutoGate.

Ed’s career has been nothing short of remarkable. Hired by founder Bob Rodwancy as an assembler, Ed quickly demonstrated his adaptability when the need for a painter arose. Without hesitation, Ed took on both roles, mastering them with ease. From there, he became a vital member of our Field Installation & Service team—back when AutoGate installed and serviced gates ourselves! Working alongside Bill and Don, Ed not only honed his technical skills but also built lasting relationships with customers and dealers alike.

Over the years, Ed’s expertise evolved further as he became our go-to tech support guru, helping countless customers troubleshoot and resolve issues with his unparalleled knowledge and problem-solving skills. Most recently, in his role in R&D and Engineering, Ed’s innovative mindset and profound understanding of our products have left an enduring impact, shaping the future of AutoGate.

Ed’s dedication, experience, and passion have been the cornerstone of AutoGate’s commitment to quality and customer service. Beyond his professional contributions, Ed has been a mentor, a storyteller, and a cherished friend—always reminding us of the journey that has brought us to where we are today.

While we’ll deeply miss Ed’s presence, we are thrilled for him as he begins this exciting new chapter of life. Thank you, Ed, for your 27.5 years of unwavering commitment and for being the very heart of AutoGate.
