To all the amazing fathers out there HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!
What a day we had yesterday. 6/14/25. I took out a father son pair for a Father’s Day surf trip and 21 flounder hit the sand in total! Ryan’s first fish of the day was 15 minutes into us parking at the first location. It was also the first flounder of his life being a solid 20 inches and the next one just over 17.5”. Two keepers back to back for a true beginner flounder fisherman with only 30-40 seconds of instruction before sending him off. These two killed it and stuck with it the whole time even when the tide switched and fishing slowed down. Fishing is getting hot if you know what to do and where to go! Book your trip now!

This time of the year isn’t only for sharks! More toothy critters to speak of! The other day our client got a beautiful 20” flounder along with a 15” throw back. Between yesterday and today I have caught 13 flounder with 1 slightly over 18” keeper!

So if you have been out with us and have been lucky enough to catch one of these fish. You can go online and get yourself a certificate. All you need is a picture of your shark and the length. we actually love this image on the citation very much it’s a very good representation of what our Sand tigers around here, especially the pretty ones.

Saw we broke 6k followers before I went to sleep last night! More shark blocker success! This nice man and his wife stopped in and talked to me last week while I was out there watching a couple rods and making a bunch of shark rigs. He picked one up from me on the spot and here’s what he got! He was very pleased with the perfect book sets and how well the rig held up the big male sandbar was a long fight! Guess who wants 5 more!
