Another beautiful evening on the sand! We started off with a decent sandbar shark (not pictured) then a couple smaller sharks, couple skates. Then we got the smallest roughtail ray I’ve ever seen! I absolutely love these rays they’re so cool. As usual the sun set and things went silent until it wasn’t! We finally got on this young man’s biggest fish of his life! A 41” red drum!

With the season coming to an end I want to thank every single person who came on a trip with us. Every single person who supported us by watching our videos and everybody who stopped us to tell us they love what we do. I can say without a doubt we are both proud to have been apart of so many people’s personal best fish these past two seasons and we are excited to do it all over again next year!

We had an absolutely beautiful night on the OSV yesterday with Audrey and her family! The trip was supposed to be a 2 hour lesson but I convinced her to do an actual surf trip because the chances for monsters were there! We had a bunch of action before dark with little tiny sandbar sharks non stop. We did land one very big smooth dogfish then it went silent for a while. Only a couple small hits here and there. Finally right before we started packing up the tide got moving and we got on em! First one we didn’t measure but the second one was an absolutely beautiful 44.5” red I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a big red with colors like this one the tail was so gold!

Beautiful red we got this morning on a surf trip! Caught a couple kingfish and a stingray also. There isn’t much beach open but the fish are biting! We had to cancel and reschedule a few trips last week so we’re happy to get back out and land some fish!
