Shout out to ATS Fish n Fab for the heavy duty spike. It did its job wonderfully and we landed this shark just fine. Sometimes it’s easier fighting these sharks out of the spike than it is putting somebody who’s never used a fighting belt in one.

While in VA the other day our neighbor needed a jump so after I released the fish I had just caught I sprang into action. I rebait my rod and as we get set up I turn around and Tristan is already fighting a fish on my rod 🤣
