Back to where it all began: I hadn’t been in several years. But I decided to go back. I’m glad I did. The appetizers of tartar de pato and lengua de wagyu anticuchera were both home runs. Wagyu beef tongue with an anticucho sauce! Wow!!!!! But the cola de buey Trujillo Oaxaca was the highlight. Reminiscent of a mole negro with a touch of manchamanteles, perhaps? It was outstanding. It won’t be 10 years before I come back next time.

This just doesn’t get old. is my go to lunch in Peru. This job has its benefits.

Tried for the first time some highs and lows. The bone marrow appetizer was the highlight of the night. My entree was overcooked but tasty. I would go back and order nothing but appetizers.
