There are some major events coming to Walt Disney World. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select dates through October 31 and EPCOT's annual Food and Wine Festival begins on August 30 and runs through November 12. These are great events and we can help you experience them.

Hello! This weekend, at the D23 Expo, a great deal of information was released about the future of Walt Disney World. I am going to try and give you all a synopsis of the presentation and show you some exciting concept art of things to come.

First - In Magic Kingdom, the popular Tron Light-Cycle Coaster from Shanghai Disneyland will officially be taking up residence in Tomorrowland. However, Magic Kingdom will not be losing any attractions with this new experience as the Tomorrowland Speedway, which was rumored to be closing, will remain in operation for the foreseeable future.

Second - In Epcot major changes are coming. Ellen's Energy Adventure will be closing on August 17 to make way for a new experience featuring The Guardians of The Galaxy. Mission Space, which is currently closed, will reopen this fall with new Missions for the Green and Orange experiences and will soon add a dining experience themed as an orbital restaurant. No word on location and whether or not it will affect the currently empty Wonders of Life pavilion. In World Showcase, the France pavilion will be expanded to add new dining options and the Ratatouille ride from Disneyland Paris. While the project does not outline any plans for the existing Impressions De France movie, it looks like it will remain for now. Epcot's Future World will also be getting a major overhaul in terms of appearance as the Innoventions buildings are set to be removed.

Third - Disney's Hollywood Studios will see Toy Story Land open in Summer 2018 and the much-anticipated Star Wars Land, now called Galaxy's Edge, will open in 2019. The Great Movie Ride will be closing on August 17 to make way for a new experience featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Lastly - A new transportation option is on its way called Disney's Skyliner. This gondola system will transport guests between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios with stops at the Caribbean Beach, Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts. The Disney Vacation Club will also be expanded with the opening of the Riviera Resort adjacent to Caribbean Beach.

This is a lot of change and not all of them are set in stone - but exciting things are on the way for Disney Parks.
