A Disney promotion is exciting, but I’m always more interested in what that savings could mean for the family taking the trip.

Maybe it brings the resort you really wanted within reach.

Maybe it gives you room in the budget for Lightning Lanes, a character meal, or a special experience for your kids.

Maybe it means choosing a resort with easier transportation so you can take midday breaks without losing quite as much park time.

Or maybe it simply makes the total feel a little more comfortable.

Disney’s newest offer includes savings of up to $250 per night on select four night, four day room and ticket packages for stays from January 3 through July 28, 2027. That could add up to as much as $1,000 on a qualifying four night stay (or more if you stay longer).

Of course, “up to” matters. The savings vary by resort, room category, travel dates, and availability. That’s why I look at the full picture instead of choosing a resort based only on the discount attached to it.

Thinking about a Royal Caribbean cruise? There are two offers available right now that could make this a great time to start planning!

But here’s the thing about cruise promotions: finding the best value isn’t always as simple as choosing the sailing with “Kids Sail Free” next to it.

The right ship, itinerary, stateroom location, travel dates, and combination of offers can make a big difference in both the experience and the final price. That’s where working with a travel advisor can be especially helpful.

Right now, qualifying bookings may be eligible for:

• Kids 12 and younger sailing free on select cruises
• Third and fourth guests sailing free on select dates
• Double Crown & Anchor points on up to two qualifying cruises
• Additional savings or onboard credit that may be combinable with these offers

I can help you compare eligible sailings, determine which promotions can be combined, find a stateroom that works well for your family, and choose a ship that actually fits the way you want to vacation.

Because the cheapest sailing is not always the best fit, and the biggest promotional headline does not always equal the best overall value.

Universal has been a hot ticket item this week, which made me realize I haven’t shared that vacation packages are now available throughout all of 2027!

If you haven’t visited Epic Universe yet, it is SUCH a beautiful park and an amazing addition to Universal Orlando.

New Disney Cruise Line itineraries were released earlier this week for Castaway Club members, and booking opens for first time Disney cruisers next Tuesday, September 8!

Why does that matter?

Booking early is one of the best ways to secure the stateroom you want, lock in the best available price, request early dining, and give yourself more time to make payments.

Some of the most anticipated itineraries are already completely booked or have very limited availability, including select sailings from New York and the Disney Wish transatlantic sailing.

If you’re considering a Disney cruise for fall 2027 through spring 2028, or even sooner, now is the time to start planning! Most sailings require just a 10% deposit, with the remaining balance due 90 to 120 days before sailing, depending on the length of the cruise.

Looking for a relaxing adults only escape with your significant other?! Check out what my clients thought of UNICO 20°87° in Riviera Maya after spending part of their anniversary trip there!

Their review pretty much says it all: “I think UNICO probably will ruin any other resort for me.”

They absolutely LOVED their stay, and a few things in particular stood out:

The staff was unbelievably kind and accommodating, and their concierge checked in with them every single day.

The food was some of the best they’ve ever had at an all inclusive. They loved the French restaurant so much they ate there twice and are still talking about the lobster cappuccino!

They took a cocktail class and made margaritas with the resort mixologist, booked massages at the spa, and even took advantage of the salon and laundry service while they were there.

But more than anything, they just couldn’t say enough good things about the overall experience and how well they were taken care of.

UNICO has been one of my favorite adults only resorts to recommend for couples who want somewhere beautiful and relaxing, but still want great food, activities and things to do without ever needing to leave the resort.

And hearing that my clients came home saying they had “the best anniversary trip ever” makes me pretty happy too.

If an adults only getaway is on your radar, UNICO is definitely one to keep on the list!
