This is something I’ve been wrestling with for months, & honestly, this is so hard to write...

After a LOT of reflection & mixed emotions, I’ve decided to close my books for Paddlin’ Madeleine tours & rentals for the foreseeable future. My real estate business has taken off in ways I’m incredibly grateful for, & it’s just no longer feasible for me to juggle it all.

These past 5+ years have been filled with more than I could ever put into words: so much personal growth, genuine fun, & countless special memories shared on the water. I tear up just thinking about all of the amazing people I’ve met through what started as a playful idea & passion project.

Another difficult part of this decision is realizing how much Paddlin’ Madeleine became a part of my identity. But after talking with the people closest to me, I came to a realization that I’ll always be Paddlin’ Madeleine, no matter what comes next.

I’m incredibly grateful to every single person who booked a tour, rented a board, bought merch, shared a recommendation, followed along, or simply cheered me on over the years. You helped turn a dream into something so much bigger than I ever imagined, & I’ll forever cherish that.

So excited to share something special we’ve been dreaming up for our Keys community 💫

This was inspired by convos with our friends (including ourselves 🙋‍♀️) who have said they want to meet new people, feel more connected, spend more intentional time in nature, etc, etc.

Sooo...we teamed up and created something fun just for that!

This is a cozy, intimate 5 spot pilot designed to help you slow down, meet new friends, and build real connection over a handful of bi-weekly paddles.

We made it a series on purpose. Community grows deeper when you keep showing up.

Four years ago, I turned a passion into something more—Paddlin’ Madeleine. Now, it’s literally my identity. ☺️

Lately, I’ve been focusing on growing my real estate business, so Paddlin’ Madeleine has taken a bit of a back seat with more limited availability. But honestly? That’s okay. I built this business to ebb & flow with my life—not to feel like just a job or a transaction. Every tour I give comes from the heart, & I hope that shines through. I want each experience on the water to feel intentional, personal, & meaningful—& giving myself space to show up fully makes that possible.

But with the summer months here (aka my busy season!), I’m opening up more tour spots & couldn’t be more excited to get back on the water with you!

This journey has always been about having fun & not taking ourselves too seriously, doing things differently, & sharing a deep love for the ocean & the Keys. I hope to continue sharing it with yall for years to come. Thanks for being here. 💜🌿
