Grand Opening details.

Join us on September 30 and October 1, 2026, for two days of events celebrating the grand opening of the Jim Crow Museum.

On September 30, the day will include a special program beginning at 1 p.m. in Williams Auditorium, located at 630 S. Michigan Ave., Big Rapids, Michigan. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will follow, along with a self-guided museum experience supported by museum staff.

On October 1, the celebration will continue with a facilitated discussion featuring the museum’s founder beginning at 10 a.m. Free museum admission will follow.
