It snowed two days ago, but today is bright and sunny! ☀️ Arrowleaf balsamroot (Balsamorhiza sagittata) is blooming its little heart out in the park right now. This gorgeous plant is abundant in mountain fields, but can also be found in the understory of conifer forests.

FUN FACT: the roots of the arrowleaf balsamroot can be used as a coffee substitute! (Would you try it??)
