IYKYK. What happens on the river stays on the river, and that's the beauty of it.

Life slows down to 3 mph out here. No schedule, no service, no rush. Whether it's a family trip or a group of new friends by the end of day one, the river is a place to feel like yourself again, and maybe let loose a little.

A full day at 3mph.

A delicious breakfast, a few rapids before lunch, maybe a hot spring and campsite games in the afternoon, and live music by the fire as the stars apear.

Early season calls for lots of time in the hot springs! And everyone definitely has their favorite spot.

Along the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, hot springs are more than just a welcome way to warm up after a cool day on the river. They’re a natural part of the landscape, fed by geothermal heat deep below the surface. There’s nothing quite like soaking in warm mineral-rich water while surrounded by Idaho’s backcountry.
