It’s hard to believe 25 years has passed since the 9/11 strikes on the twin towers. After years of visiting and then living in NYC (and the subsequent 9/11’s spent… on my first week of an MTV internship on 9/11/02, this first anniversary amongst absolutely distraught NY’ers or while Tour Leading in 9/11/07, my group of international tourists wrecked with their NY City Tour taking them to the still hole-in-the-ground of “Ground Zero” during a remembrance event) and watching the Freedom Tower eventually erect and change the skyline again.
I am often overwhelmed by the bravery and sacrifice of others. Last September (2025) I did a Pennsylvania road trip & visited the Flight 93 National Memorial. The crew and passengers of this flight made the bravest decision in the shortest amount of time to fight back and knowingly sacrifice their lives to save money more and prevent an attack on DC. The words “Let’s Roll” break my heart.
