8th annual Battle in the Bay SUP Race
Saturday May 23rd Bigfork, Montana at the Bigfork Whitewater Festival
Looking for a good reason to start your paddling season? The Battle in the Bay is here! Whether you are a first time racer or a seasoned pro, this race of friendly competition is a wonderful way to connect with a fun loving community of people who will only get you more stoked on the sport of paddle boarding!

The race will offer three divisions with coordinating courses: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
- Beginner .5 mile (out and back)
- Intermediate 1.2 miles (2 laps in Bay)
- Advanced 2.7 miles (from bay to Wayfarers State Park Dock plus one lap in bay)
All racers must supply their own SUP, paddle and PFD. $35 entry fee. Prizes for first place in each division! Every paddler is entered to win from an awesome raffle.

- Safety Meeting 10:30 a.m. Bigfork Bay Public Dock
- Races Start 11:00 a.m. Bigfork Bay Public Dock
