Turns out putting my family on a Disney ship is one of my favorite ways to vacation. 🚢✨

And the Destiny? I’d book her again in a heartbeat.

Great food, happy kids, Castaway Cay and someone else making my bed twice a day. Say less.

Ready to see what a Disney Cruise could look like for your family? Comment CRUISE and let’s get you on the best Disney ship.

One of my favorite parts of this job is seeing what families are actually choosing for their vacations.
August brought 30 new bookings, and there were definitely a few trends šŸ‘€

Club Level, Pop Century, multi-generational trips, Animal Kingdom Lodge having a MOMENT... and lots of families already thinking ahead to 2027.

Here’s what my clients were booking in August ā¬†ļø

Thinking about your own trip? Comment PLAN and I’ll send you info on working with me.

No regrets. Not even one.

I was having a great time. I loved the resort. I loved the quiet. I loved getting to do Disney completely on my own schedule.

And then I was just…done.

I wanted to go home to my people badly enough that a 518-mile drive somehow sounded like a fantastic idea.

There will be plenty of years for trips without my kids. Right now, I’m really happy being in the era where I still want them there.

So yes, moms deserve time away.

And moms are also allowed to rent a car and drive 518 miles home when they realize they’ve had enough of it. šŸ˜†

Swan Reserved surprised me. I think this might be one of the most overlooked places to stay at Disney World, so here are a few things you should know before you write it off.

Let’s talk about the buses because I KNOW you’ve heard things. The Marriott team said to plan on 20-35 minutes to get to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom by bus. I also saw these buses running constantly. Want to avoid the TTC? I recommend calling a Minnie Van. Plus being able to walk to two parks changes the transportation conversation quite a bit.

The rooms were one of my biggest surprises.

They’re spacious, bright, and well designed. Most importantly they feel calm. I really loved coming back here after a busy day.

If you have a larger family they offer connecting rooms and suites.

Mickey waffles delivered to my room before a park day? Dinner delivered at night when I’m too tired to think? I love the thought of room service on my Disney vacation!

The pool at the Swan reserve is smaller but you also have access to all the pools on property, including the famous Grotto pool!

Disney is LOUD. I love it but I get overstimulated easily. Theres something special about coming back to a resort that feels completely removed from that.

This is where my experience was elevated. Daily housekeeping, turndown service and some of the kindest staff I’ve ever interacted with at Disney World. āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

Don’t count the Swan reserve out just because it isn’t Disney-owned. For the right family, the location and amenities and quieter feel can make SO much sense.

And YES I can help you book and plan a Disney World vacation staying at the Swan Reserve, Swan or Dolphin. You’ll get my full planning services when you stay here and get 3+ days of park tickets! Comment PLAN and I’ll send you more information about planning your trip with me.

Every Disney World resort is amazing. Truly.

ā€¼ļøBut not every Disney World resort is going to be amazing for your family. So how do you decide?

Hi, I’m Sarah. I’ve helped over 300 families plan Disney World vacations and I’ve stayed at every Disney World resort except one. (Sorry, Coronado Springs. Your day will come.)

✨And one of my favorite parts of helping clients plan their trips is figuring out which resort actually makes sense for them.
šŸ‘€Because the resort your friend loved might not be the resort I’d recommend for you.
āœ…I’m looking at your kids’ ages, how much time you’ll spend at the resort, which parks matter most, transportation, your family size, your budget and what you want this vacation to feel like.

Sometimes my answer is the Polynesian. 🌺
Sometimes it’s Art of Animation. šŸŽØ
Sometimes I’m going to tell you to spend the money on that Riviera one-bedroom because I genuinely think it will change your vacation. ā˜•ļø

There isn’t one ā€œbestā€ Disney World resort. There’s a best fit for your trip. And helping you figure that out is part of what I do when you book your Disney vacation with me.

Disney resorts are my bread and butter. If you’d like help finding the best resort for your next trip to Disney, comment PLAN and I’ll be in touch!

You don’t need to become a Disney expert before you plan a Disney vacation. That’s kind of the whole point of having me. šŸ¤āœØ

Ask the questions. Even the ones you think you *should* already know. I promise, I’ve heard them before.

I’ll handle the Disney knowledge. You just get excited about the trip.

Comment PLAN and I’ll send you more info about planning your Disney World vacation with me.
