They say, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Well, I definitely work, but when it’s for the best clients and with the most supportive team, it feels like a dream. This week is a big one: seven years in business, Small Business Week, Military Spouse Appreciation, and Travel Advisor Day.

In 2019, I took a leap of faith and joined the team at Travel with the Magic. I was a mom of two young kids, a military spouse who had moved three times in 22 months, and I was unemployed. While my volunteer work was meaningful, it revolved around the military. I needed something for myself that brought me joy, gave me flexibility, and could grow with me as I changed zip codes.

I am so grateful to Kelly for welcoming me with open arms, encouraging me to grow my business, and opening the door to opportunities for professional growth. Words can barely express how grateful I am to every family who trusts me with their vacation plans, recommends me to their friends, and allows me to watch their family grow year after year.

The Galaxy is calling! Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just there for the vibes, stepping into Batuu is a sensory overload in the best possible ways. Here is why Black Spire Outpost needs to be on your to-do list at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disneyland Park:

✨ Rise of the Resistance isn’t just an attraction; it’s a cinematic masterpiece. From the hangar bay of a Star Destroyer to the final escape, the scale is jaw-dropping.

✨ You can’t save the galaxy on an empty stomach so stop for these two snack drinks. Blue Milk: refreshing, plant-based, and iconic. Those Banthas are doing something right. Cold Brew Black Caf: this is the caffeine kick you need to outrun a First Order patrol.

✨ Seeing the land evolve to integrate different eras of the Star Wars saga is exciting. I can’t wait to hear the classic music playing and bump into new “old friends.”

✨ Character interactions are some of the best anywhere. Dodging Stormtroopers or getting recruited for a secret mission by Rey, the citizens of Batuu make the world feel alive.

✨ You’re encouraged to dress the part, sort of. While you can’t be in full costume, consider bounding to fit in on Batuu. Build your lightsaber and be sure to take photos after.

Pro Tips: If you’re at Disneyland, don’t miss Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga. Consider watching the fireworks from Batuu, or should I say, watch Fire of the Rising Moons.

And don’t skip out on Star Tours! It’s not in the lands, but this classic attraction has also changed with the times too.

If you're ready to hear that magical Disney Cruise Line horn sound off in person, now is a great time to look at booking a sailing.

Kids ages 17 and under (up to 3 total) will sail for half off with two full-fare adults in the same stateroom.

Select sailings from October 1, 2026, through March 27, 2027 are eligible (except Disney Adventure). Early sailings on Disney Wish for June 29 - September 18 may also be available.

If you're someone who loves planning in advance, I've got good news for you today. Walt Disney World has relesed bookings for packages, resort stays and tickets through October 31, 2027.

The only major change we're tracking so far this year is the return of a deluxe dining plan option. The Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan will offer two table service credits, one quick service credit and one snack credit per night of your stay, in addition to the refillable mug. The Quick-Service Dining Plan and Table-Service Dining Plan (formerly know as the Disney Dining Plan) remain options for your 2027 trips.

Remember, a $200 deposit locks in your package and you have until 30 days before check in to pay your balance. Booking early guarantees you the best availability and lots of time for us to iron out the details of your trip.
