Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres has been a popular wedding resort for our couples! It’s great for those who would like the option for children to join but don’t want a place with tons of families around. It is made up mostly of adults only rooms so there isn’t quite as much for kids to do. And the beach is 🙌

A quick update from Annie🤍

Cassie and I were scheduled to head to Mexico tomorrow for our resort tour, but due to unexpected circumstances, we will no longer be making the trip at this time.

We wanted to share a quick update since many of you were following along and expecting to see resort photos and videos from us this week.

As your travel advisors, we take your preferences into consideration. Yes, we can talk about your family and friends recommendations but ultimately want to choose the trip that’s best for you.

Here are two questions to consider:

Do you prefer a long beach, or a private alcove beach when you are in a tropical location?

A long beach is great for walks, but might not be as private as people are walking from other resorts. An alcove beach means no long walks, but more privacy, and usually calmer waters.

Do you prefer all-inclusive packages or a hotel only leaving you the freedom to explore and visit local restaurants and bars?

While many all inclusive resorts have expanded their menus, brought in higher trained chefs and focused more attention on their offerings they are not necessarily a foodie haven. However, the food is good and the ease of staying on the resort is heavenly!

So tell us, do you prefer long beach walks or coved in swimming spots? Do you prefer local restaurants or all inclusive stays?!

We don’t sell what we don’t know.” 🌴 Cassie here. It’s something Annie and I say a lot, and we mean it.

Yup, that’s us in January of 2021, masks still required in some public settings, walking resorts in Mexico. Because that’s what we do. For years we’ve flown to different countries and packed our days with site inspections and management meetings, then done it all again the next morning.

We get on the planes. We walk the properties. We eat the food (rough job, we know). We check whether the swim-up suite actually swims up to anything, whether the kids’ club is worth the name, whether the beach is the beach in the photos.

Because you can’t stand behind something you haven’t lived. And if we’re going to put our name on your honeymoon, your family’s spring break, your first big trip in retirement... we want to really know it.

In a few weeks we’re headed to the Cancun area with a long list of resorts and four days to walk every one we can. We’ll come home tired, a little sunburned, and with a notebook full of things we’ll use on your behalf.

Living it is the best part of this job. Telling you about it is a close second.
