Brasstown Bald is the highest natural point in the state of Georgia coming in at 4,784 feet. It’s situated between Blairsville and Hiawassee offering 360 degree breathtaking views of North Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina. In clear days in late September and October you may even see the Atlanta skyline.

It’s $5 per person for entry and it’s an easy paved walk up to the visitors center and observation deck. There’s also the option to drive to the top.

Up at the visitors center you’ll find an 8,000 square foot museum featuring interactive cultural and natural history exhibits. The kids will enjoy the scavenger hunt there.

Located only 30 miles from The Lodge, Brasstown Bald is a must see while staying here.

Calling all of our fisherman 🎣

April 27th is the 7th Annual Blue Ridge Trout fest. This family fun event will be held in downtown Blue Ridge which is only 20 minutes from the Lodge.

Learn how to fly fish in the activity zone at the trout fishing pond. Activities include axe throwing, gem mining, and more!

Live music, beer garden with Grumpy Old Men Brewing, a food court with a variety of vendors. There’s so much to do, see and eat!
